Manuscripts of poems, books reviews, essays, correspondence, volumes formerly owned by Clark and containing his notes and annotations. Typescript of "Disordered Ideas" (poetry); holograph and typescript, galley, correspondence relating to Clark's reading and to the publication by Lester Ferris of the Lapis Press of his poem, "His Supposition; poetry notebook and drafts and typescripts of poems, 1984-1986; holograph and typescript of his Introduction to Kerouac's "Escapedes," with related correspondence with publisher Jeffrey H. Weinberg; holograph draft and final typescript of "Towards a Theory of Beauty: Five Essays on Aesthetics" (1985); notes, holograph drafts and typescripts for book and poetry reviews; and an interview with Clark by Lynn Gray, Winter 1986. Correspondence, clippings pertaining to the Poetry Flash "language war." Clark's annotated copies of Kerouac's "Book of Dreams," and the Kerouac biography, "Jack's Book."
