This series consists of relief offering books, which are a record of persons applying to the Branch Bank for a decrease in the amount of debts they owe to the Branch Bank or for the extension of the dates on which the debts are due. Included are the name of the applicant, the date of application, the note number, a brief description of liabilities and propositions, and a brief statement of the Branch Bank's decision. The decisions state whether the application was accepted and how much the debtor is required to pay. The volume dating 1845 also includes the county where the debtor resides.
