Ledgers containing mostly customer account information relating to the operation of Aylett's Warehouse in King William County, Virginia. Also included are fiduciary records, including estate and guardian acccounts. There are also notations of fees due to Pollard as Clerk of King William County Court, as well as personal accounts of Pollard and his son, including those detailing costs of house construction and material. Volume 3 contains a brief health history of the Pollard family, and the estate. account of Robert Pollard. Volume 4 is an unidentified ledger containing business accounts, poetry, and miscellaneous writings.

Robert Pollard was born in 1756. He was employed in a store in Aylett, Virginia, in 1776, which belonged to William Aylett.
