Dewey in 1948 with Central Administration headquarters in Albany, New York. Includes system-wide planning documents, reports, and other official publications (principally, "News"), 1948-90; selected Board of Trustees minutes, 1950-70, and policies, 1954-90, and also board member correspondence files kept by the Student Association of the State University of New York (SASU), 1971-81; Faculty Assembly proceedings, 1965-68; and Faculty Senate bylaws, minutes, committee and member correspondence files, and official publications (principally, "Bulletin", 1953-90. Unless otherwise indicated, the collection is made up of files kept or retained by administrators and faculty members at the University at Albany, one of four university centers of the State University of New York.
