This typescript includes all correspondence between Calhoun, Crowell, Campbell and Meriwether prior to and during negotiations with the Creeks as well as the Indian replies to the American terms of negotiation. This collection also contains the articles of the treaty and correspondence after the murder of William McIntosh, the leader of the Creeks who had signed the treaty.
