Rough minutes of the Court of Chancery, 1762-1790.

This series consists of the register's working copy of the day to day proceedings in the Court of Chancery for terms dating 1762-1764 and 1784-1790. Abstracts of cases with names of parties and chancellors, orders, decrees (decisions or judgments) and opinions, and other court business are entered under their case titles. Causes at issue include primarily the settlement and management of estates as well as cases involving guardianship, bankruptcy, trusts, the mentally ill, and fraud.
