A compilation of rules and regulations governing the Navy in Elizabethan times; tables of weights, measures, and prices for stores and provisions; lists of Navy ships with tonnages, masters, and size of crews; calendars and astronomical tables; and a detailed estimate of the cost of transporting twenty people and livestock from New England to "Florida" (the colony of Carolina), probably in the hand of Vassall's son Samuel.
