The collection contains correspondence of the clerks of the Section on Public Health, Preventive and Industrial Medicine of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, 1967-1971, along with bank account statements and a check register, showing the financial situations and transactions of the Section. The correspondence, from clerks Samuel R. Moore and Judith S. Mausner, describes the activities of the Section, the transition from one clerk to the next, and the reasons for the discontinuance of the Section in 1971. Included are annual reports of the Section for 1967 and 1969 and Judith S. Mausner's report, 23 February 1970, on the Section's proposed discontinuance.

The Section on Industrial Medicine and Public Health was established by the Council and President of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia on 4 April 1917, at the request of thirty Fellows, including John B.
