Letter, 1793 April 25.

Letter to James Wadsworth describing tracts of land that Wadsworth hired him to explore. Porter's description does not specifically mention any tracts other than the Trotten and Crossfield patent. His description, however is vivid and full of information such as the lay of the land, the types of trees, the size of lakes, the nature of the soil and the ability of the land to support settlement. Written at Albany, N.Y.
