A typed carbon copy of a paper describing the movement to bring the St. Louis County (Minnesota) Fair from Duluth to Hibbing. Twitchell describes the building of a horse racetrack in Hibbing and the organization of the Hibbing Speedway Association to promote the races. The Speedway Association later became the St. Louis County Agricultural Society when the fair was moved to Hibbing. The paper was read at the meeting of the St. Louis County Historical Society, held at Hibbing, Minnesota, April, 1930.
