Account book, 1809-1830.

Documents Clapp's activities as a shoemaker. In exchange for making shoes, taping shoes, fixing heels, and repairing soles, he received cow hide, butter, corn, and other produce. His customers received credit for such activites as plowing, weaving cloth, carting, and work on shingles. A few of the accounts were settled by the executor of Clapp's estate in 1830.
