Nine letters received by Herman Cope, assistant cashier and agent of the bank, primarily related to settling its affairs. There are four letters from the Little Schuylkill Navigation, Railroad & Coal Co. regarding its inability to pay interest and the assignment of the mortgage on its property from the bank to James Dundas, et al. There are also two letters regarding real estate owned by James and Isaac H. Erwin that was mortgaged to the bank.
