Creek War military records collection, 1813-[ca.1820].

Papers, 1813-ca.1820, contain various military records of the Creek War in Alabama. This collection includes a ration list for Tenn. volunteers signed by Andrew Jackson, several accounts of scouting parties in the Fort Deposit (Ala.) and Fort Claiborne (Ala.) areas and a personal letter probably describing the Canoe Fight in 1813. This collection also includes several letters written by Samuel Dale to Gov. William W. Bibb.
