History of the reigning family of Oude : proof of unpublished work / by W.H. Sleeman, [185-?].

The first portion seems to be a condensation of the 'Seir Mutaqherin,', the second is a summary of material probably drawn chiefly from Grant Duff's 'History of the Mahrathas'. The account of Nadir Shah's rise to power in Persia and Afghanistan, and his raid into India and capture and sack of Delhi is set forth in some detail, occupying the second half of the book. As far as India is concerned, the narrative ends with Nadir Shah's retirement from Delhi in 1739. This unpublished pamphlet contains hardly a mention of Oude, and only a single reference to the possible founder of its royal family.
