Henry Lumpkin Bowden, lawyer and Emory University trustee, was born July 23, 1910, in Atlanta, Ga. He served as President of the Atlanta Bar Association; as Atlanta City Attorney (1963-1976); and as a member of the Emory University Board of Trustees (1949-1979; chairman 1957-1979).
