List of renters on Breck's Lane, [ca. 1940].

The record is a single sheet listing the houses on Breck's Lane near Wilmington, Del., which were originally worker's housing attached to the Brandywine Works of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company. The list appears to have been prepared by W. W. Laird, Jr., in settling the estate of his mother, Mary Alletta Belin du Pont Laird (1878-1938), which owned the properties. The list enumerates the individual houses, the renter, and the monthly rent. Many of the occupants are retired powder workers and their families.
