Miscellaneous papers and ephemera of Florence Smart Daly and her family. Several items pertain to George C. Smart, including a membership certificate (1873) from the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Unity Lodge #131 of the fifth degree, San Francisco, issued to George C. Smart; an undated military business card for Smart; an invitation to the tenth wedding anniversary celebration of Smart and his wife (1885); and a carbon copy of Smart's will (1913). Includes several items pertaining to Florence Smart's marriage to John Daly in Jan. 1919, including a marriage certificate, a marriage license, two wedding invitations, a telegram of congratulations from Florence Smart's aunt, and four newspaper clippings. Also includes a typewritten letter to Florence Smart (1911) from Steinway? a baptism announcement for Florence Smart's nephew, George Stanley Smart; an undated invitation to the wedding of Grace Stuart Pope and James Francis McCone; an undated, typewritten letter from John Daly to his wife and children indicating his funeral wishes; and an undated business card for William S. Folger, a San Francisco printer.
