Plans and specifications for the Archives building, 1986-[Ongoing].

This series includes the Archives Director's copies of the plans and specifications for the renovation and alterations to the archives building prepared by Watson, Watson, and Rutland Architects. The renovation resulted in the removal of asbestos and the weatherproofing of the terrace, renovation of the roof, interior plaster work, and other minor repairs to the structure built in 1940. The director is ultimately responsible for the care and maintenance of the building. As such, he reviews and is the final approving authority within the archives for any renovation and repair work. There are copies of plans and specifications for the construction of the West Wing of the Archives building. Construction began in 2002.
