Includes call to the Union Party Convention; official statements by Gov. John Brough re. support for soldiers; legal papers re. bounty lands, soldiers' monument, road maintenance; memorials on the death of Brough; and proclamation for Thanksgiving and other holiday celebrations. Includes printed copy of letters between James Wetmore and Fred Knapp (1863) re. alleged fraudulent sale of railroad tickets by the sanitary commission and one ALS, Smith to G.V. Dorsey (1864) re. money for Union Party circulars as "the antidote to Copperhead poison."
