Charles Francis Aiken was born in Boston on April 8, 1863 and died there on July 8, 1925. He attended grammar and high school in Sommerville and higher education brought him to Harvard, St. John's Seminary (Brighton, Mass.), and Catholic University. He taught Classics at the Heathcote School of Buffalo, 1884-1886, and was ordained a priest in 1890.
