This pen and ink drawing is based on an original watercolor drawing by William Walker now in the Boston Athenaeum's Prints & Photographs Department. Walker's watercolor was commissioned by Charles E. Wiggins to document the buildings before they were demolished in 1866 and replaced by the Charlotte Cushman School.
