The Graham Greene/Pedro M. López collection, 1981-1989.

This collection consists of seven letters from British author Graham Greene (1904-1991) to Pedro M. López Cortezo, whose home was in Seneca, Mexico. The letters are dated between 1981 and 1989 and were usually written in January in response to López Cortezo's annual holiday letter. Copies of the letters sent by López Cortezo to Greene are not available, but from Greene's responses we know that the letters were largely personal in nature but also contain some discussion of literary topics. Greene's letters offer some comments on his own work, as well as other literary figures and topics.
