Correspondence, programs, brochures, speeches, articles, clippings, and photographs, from three summer sessions held at Mount Holyoke College, 1942-1944. The gatherings were modeled on the Décades, ten day discussion meetings, founded in 1910 and held in Pontigny, France until the German occupation during World War II. Also known as Pontigny en Amérique, European and American scholars met for discussions, lectures, symposiums, and cultural events. Organizers included: Gustave Cohen, Helen Patch, and Jean Wahl.
