Biography U.S. Representative John J. McFall, Democrat of Manteca (Calif.), served eleven terms in Congress (1957-78). He represented San Joaquin, Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Mono, Tuolumne and portions of Sacramento and Stanislaus counties.
