The collection contains Andrew Horn's academic diplomas, army records and numerous bio-bibliographies documenting his career as an academic librarian, teacher and administrator. Most of the material relates to the period 1959 -1980, when Horn held the positions of Professor, Assistant Dean and Dean for the UCLA School of Library Service. Many notes and letters make reference to university and library affairs of the time and to persons and events in the Los Angeles and California book worlds.
