Edward Ardizzone (1900-1979) was born in Haiphong, French Indochina. He was a painter and graphic artist. He wrote and illustrated (1936) and illustrated more than 100 books, the most famous of which was The collection consists of original watercolors, manuscripts, and printed material by Ardizzone.
