Charles Lamb was born to John and Elizabeth (Field) Lamb in London on February 10, 1775. Two of his siblings survived to adulthood, John (1763-1821) and Mary Ann (1764-1847). Biography Wallace Nethery born December 29, 1910 on his grandfather's farm outside the town of Gravity, Iowa. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1934. He served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Enterprise, stationed in the Pacific.
