William L. Rogers photograph album and papers 1924-1991

Album contains photographs, clippings, programs, and memorabilia pertaining to the American rugby team in the 1924 Olympics held in Paris, France. In addition to the games, the photos document the team's voyage to France, tour through England, and excursions in France. Many of the clippings are from French newspapers. Other items in the collection include articles on the 1924 team, 1988-91, biographical articles on Rogers, 1986-88, and correspondence with Norman Cleaveland regarding his football career at Stanford and the 1924 Olympic rugby team (of which he was also a member), 1984.
