Richard Alan Wilson (1915- ) was a actor, stage manager, and assistant producer at the Mercury Theatre under Orson Welles. Wilson worked on all Welles' films and radio shows until 1948 when he began work as an associate producer on and . He later became a producer at Universal-International and directed movies including (1955), (1957), (1959), (1964), and (1968). The collection consists of general correspondence, miscellanea, U.S. government and United Nations publications, and production files for film, radio, and stage productions. The production files contain correspondence, photographs, press clippings, screenplays, shooting scripts, material on research, budget and publicity, and interviews, articles and addresses by Wilson.
