Clelia Duel Mosher was a physician and professor of personal hygiene at Stanford University 1893-1896, 1910-1929, and emeritus 1929-1940. She was born in 1863 in Albany, New York and graduated from Wellesley College in 1891. She also received an A.B. degree (1892) in zoology and an A.M. degree (1894) in physiology from Stanford University, and received her M.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 1900.
