Stanley Fleishman (1920- ) was a lawyer specializing in defending the civil rights of authors, publishers and distributors, especially those accused of violating obscenity laws. He argued free speech cases 11 times before the Supreme Court, was involved in constitutional law and civil rights litigation on behalf of the disabled, and was counsel of record for Doctors for AIDS Research and Education.
