Biography Thomas S. Kerrigan was born on March 15, 1939 in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of California at Berkeley and Loyola University Law School in Los Angeles, being admitted to the bar in 1965. In the late 1960s, his abiding interest in poetry led him to create the literary journal Hierophant, which he edited and published.
