Lady Agnes Anne Adams, daughter of John Cook of Ashley and wife of Sir John Adams (1857-1934), a professor of education at the University of London in 1902-1922 and author of books on theory and psychology of education. Sir John Adams died in 1934 in Los Angeles, where he lectured at the University of California at Los Angeles.
