California Staff Development Institute 1994-2000

The California Staff Development Institute (1994-2000) was funded by the California Department of Education, Adult Education Unit, with federal adult education leadership monies to facilitate professional development. The collection includes SDI contracts, a series on the development of the California State Plan for implementing Title II of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, records related to California's State Literacy Collaborative Council and Resource Centers, print masters for training modules, and the Administrator Scholarship Program. The records of the Programs of Excellence initiative include a collection of photographs.
