Some petitions, and materials concerning seed grain and railroad lands, apparently date from the administrations of Cushman K. Davis and John S. Pillsbury.

Cushman Kellogg Davis, a Senator from Minnesota, was born in Henderson, Jefferson County, N.Y., on June 16, 1838.
