John Kight Transportation Collection 1878-1990

John Kight was a long time employee and historian of successive transportation companies in San Antonio. The records of VIA Metropolitan Transit, kept by Kight, include material from the beginning of mass transit in San Antonio in 1878 to 1990. The Kight Transportation Collection documents the history of mass transportation in San Antonio. The collection is divided into three series of records representing the different types of material and the origins of that material: VIA Records, Transportation, and Special Formats.
