The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) was formed in 1977 as an independent union representing flight attendants of American Airlines who had previously been represented by the Transport Workers Union. Today, through acquisitions by AMR Corporation, parent company of American Airlines, APFA has grown to 12,000 members and is the second largest of the flight attendant unions. These official records of the APFA include programs, printed materials, Board minutes, a CD, a DVD, copies of news sheets.
