The University of Texas at Arlington Mavericks competes in many NCAA Division I events, including baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, track, and volleyball. In 1989 the volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Volleyball Final Four. The women’s basketball team played in the 2005 NCAA tournament. UT Arlington is a charter member of the Southland Conference. This collection of VHS video tapes are related to UT Arlington athletic events including the Pecan bowl, Junior Rose Bowl, and Scott Murray Sports Extra. This collection includes tapes of baseball, men and women’s basketball, and women’s volleyball.
