A retired member of the New York City Fire Department, Bill Groneman (1952- ) is an author whose works explore the history of the American West. He has written extensively on the Battle of the Alamo and the life and death of defender David Crockett. The collection contains typescripts, galley copies, and other material related to the production of three books by Bill Groneman: (co-authored by Phil Rosenthal); ; and .
