Mexican American Business and Professional Women's Association Records 1975-1994

The Mexican American Business and Professional Women's Association (MABPWA) was established in 1974 to strengthen the position and image of Chicanas and to give a sense of community and visibility to Mexican American women in Austin, Texas. The collection consists of materials gathered for the 20th Anniversary Documentation Project and includes organization histories, memberships lists, event flyers and programs, newspaper clippings, oral histories and photographs dated from 1975-1994.
