Osborn H. I. Oldroyd, GAR sergeant, author and collector of Abraham Lincoln memorabilia. The collection contains documents and ephemera relating to Oldroyd’s life and work, along with items from his collections, including personal, professional, and military correspondence, official military documents, military- and Lincoln-related newspaper clippings, GAR- and Lincoln Memorial Collection-ephemera, election tickets, and Oldroyd’s collection of signatures of military and political personnel. The Oldroyd collection forms parts of the William E. Barton Collection of Lincolniana.
