Organized in 1941, the Raleigh Chamber Music Guild promotes the education and training of the public in regards to chamber music. In 1941, twenty citizens interested in a guild came together in the studio of Russell Broughton. That year, the newly formed Guild planned two successful seasons, but suspended operations because of World War II. Since 1947, the Guild has sponsored concert series.
