The Chan family book and newsclippings consists of a book prepared by Mr. and Mrs. Chan Chi Chun in memory of their son, Hau Cheong (Fred) Chan. The book is in Chinese characters and contains a number of photographs. There are also three newspaper articles about the 1977 Chinese film , which is about Chan's life. The Eternal Love Hau Cheong (Fred) Chan was a graduate student at North Carolina State University in electrical engineering. He died of cancer in 1974 before he could finish his degree.
