Nathan Wilson Walker Papers, . 1830-1926

Nathan Wilson Walker was a professor of education, dean of the School of Education, and director of the summer school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The collection includes a collection of sample standard intelligence and other tests; scrapbooks of clippings, one on general literary subjects, 1908-1912, and one on schools, 1907-1921; and accounts and other items of George Wesley Johnson, a general merchant of Farmington, Davie County, N.C., 1837-1855, and of members of his family, including two letters from Francis Marion Johnson (born 1837), a student at the University of North Carolina, 1856-1857, discussing college life and family matters.
