Glenn Irving Tucker (born 1892) was an author, journalist, and historian of Buncombe County, N.C. Tucker was born in Indiana and was educated at DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind., and Columbia University School of Journalism, New York, N.Y. He worked in the newspaper and advertising business in New York City; Philadelphia, Pa.; and Washington, D.C., for over 30 years.
