The collection contains letters of tribute, 1951 and 1952, to Sandburg on the occasion of his 75th birthday and an exhibit in his honor at the Pack Memorial Public Library, Asheville, N.C., written in response to the solicitation of the librarian, Margaret H. Ligon.
