Basil Wilson Duke Papers, . 1862-1865; 1914

Basil Wilson Duke was a Confederate cavalry brigadier general. The collection contains scattered Civil War personal and military papers of Duke, partly relating to his imprisonment in Camp Chase, Ohio, and to his brother-in-law, General John Hunt Morgan (1825-1864). Included are references to troop movements and Union prisoners. Also included is a scrapbook of clippings about John Hunt Morgan.
