There are also photographs of various members of the Blue family, primarily John Wilmer Blue; official documents relating to John Wilmer Blue's military career; news clippings about members of the Blue and related McFadyen families; letters addressed to Carol Melton from acquaintances of John Wilmer Blue that were written in response to her inquiries about him, 1982-1984; and John Wilmer Blue's 1915 Roanoke College annual.
