Jeffery Auer was a professor the Department of Speech Communication at Indiana University from 1958-1983, serving as chair of the Department of Speech and Theatre from 1958-1971 and chair of the Department of Speech Communication from 1971-1978. Collection consists of materials relating to Auer’s publications, and includes outlines and correspondence. Most prominent are typescripts of his revised edition of Norwood Brigance’s Speech Communication.
