Wayne Dewey Criddle (1914-1996) was born in Syracuse, Utah. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from USU and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. Criddle was a professor of engineering at USU; served as the Utah State Engineer; was president of the Clyde-Criddle Woodward, Inc., Consulting Engineers of Salt Lake City; and worked as a consulting engineer for Harza Engineering Company International.
